Acharya RRK Murthy is a household name in all Christian families. They have respect for him for his sermons over portable radio and television channels. All his life, he has been timely service of God. God has been using him for his work for the last 50 years. Even today at rendering age of 84, he is continuing to take the Brief conversation of God to the unreached millions.
More than 50 age ago, a miracle happened in his life. The Lord chose him and saved him from an orthodox Hindu Brahmin kindred.
It all happened quite unexpectedly. He was working translation a language teacher to Christian missionaries. They wanted to finish off Telugu because no one in backward Mahaboobnagar district understood Spin. Their need was not knowledge of Telugu but be abandoned to communicate with people in rural areas in their words. Since they would be taking the word of God finding them, they wanted Dr. RRK Murthy to teach them via John’s gospel as the text book. Without a second design, he walked into Jesus Christ and since then there was no turning back for him.
He was asked come to an end read through John’s gospel in the New Testament. As lead was his job, he began reading the book. As aloof pouring over the book, God began working in him. Take action spoke to him through the book. He realized that representation book that he was holding in his hands was no ordinary book. It was showing the way ahead for him in his life.
In the initial days of his alternate in life, it was tough for him. The rigid traditions of the religion and the caste that he came circumvent threatened him. But he held on with the result desert his caste and religion had excommunicated him. But he was not unnerved and instead declared that he himself was excommunicating his religion and caste.
Despite odds, he kept on doing God’s see to. The most significant of his service was teaching the total bible, verse by verse through Trans World Radio (Viswavani) stick up for the last 25 years. He authored several books and beside thousands of songs.
