Ondo ex-commissioner, Ranti Akerele dies at 53

A former Commissioner for Information in Ondo state, Ranti Akerele, is dead. Loosen up was said to have died in his sleep at representation early hours of Tuesday at the age of 53

 

Akerele, a veteran broadcaster, worked with the Ondo State Receiver Vision Corporation (OSRC), and was appointed a commissioner during say publicly first term of Governor Olusegun Mimiko.

 

Prior to his untimely death, he was said to be hale and warm on Monday evening before retiring to his bedroom.

 

According to a source, Akerele was said to have taken his wife, Lucy, who was sick to the hospital for management and had to return home while the sick woman was placed on admission.

 

The source said the former commissioner came home with his driver and one of his familial staff after the wife was admitted at the hospital be revealed 9pm and instructed the domestic staff to put off say publicly generating set around 12 midnight.

Akinmade, who described Akerele as an hardworking man, urged rendering people of the state "to take solace in the reality that while alive he served the state in different capacities and was able to contribute his quota to the happening of the state."

 

Akinmade however condole with the helpmeet, children and family of the late former commissioner and prayed to God to grant them the fortitude to bear representation loss.
