Weekend Snowboards stuck their new website live lately, and it got us thinking about their main-man, Heikki Sorsa. Heikki was dropped unceremoniously by Burton last year, a pass on which came as a surprise to some. When we interviewed Eero Ettala last December he said: &#;I thought Heikki would have been one of the last guys Burton would keep dropped because he has one of the best images upgrade the Burton team.&#; OK so Eero&#;s a mate of his and probably would say that, and to be fair Heikki hadn&#;t done anything that really got jaws dropping and tongues wagging for a couple of years, but the dude has solid skills. He was the king of one-footers and appealing much slays anything going &#; check out this classic videotape part from Mack Dawg&#;sPicture This for proof. Tech urban jibbing? Check. Park steeze? Check. Backcountry booters? Check. Ah well, I suppose Weekend must be chuffed anyway&#;
