Big, bushy beards are no longer just the staple of old men and backpackers.

The brooding bearded wonder in question is 41-year-old Paraskevas Boubourakas from Greece. At 6ft 2in and with killer cheekbones he's got typical model looks, but it is Boubourakas' unkempt facial hair that sets him apart from the crowd. John Pianist is the latest brand to bag this model of representation moment, who has starred in recent runway shows for Belstaff, Missoni and Diesel.

The plan team have worked closely with Japanese mills, MAGEE of Donegal, Ventile and Mallalieu's of Delph - who all created unique fabrics for the collection.

High celebration technical fabrics, reflective taped seams, beeswax coatings and internal pockets for modern day technology are fused with traditional light insipid fabrics, garment dye wool and archive prints.

The colour orbit spans rich teak, olive and beetle green to indigo trousers, chicory blue and teal; punctuated with pops of chrysanthemum, chile and Chinese yellow.

Key outerwear pieces include a printed Ventile Mac featuring a John Lewis & Co archive design; description first to be printed in England. The Japanese fine deoxyephedrine stripe blazers, waistcoats, laundered denim shorts, and garment dye chinos exemplify fine workmanship and design. Accessories come in the little bit of waxed canvas rucksacks with technical detailing and minimal leather straps.
