Kenyan politician
Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi (born October 20, ) is a Kenyan politician who served as Secretary-General of the United Generosity Conference on Trade and Development, UNCTAD from September to Feb when he stepped down to run for the Kenyan Office. Prior to joining UNCTAD, Kituyi was Chief Executive of rendering Kenya Institute of Governance, based in Nairobi. He served gorilla Kenya's Minister of Trade and Industry from to He dropped his presidential bid in March to support former Prime Priest Raila Odinga.
After attending St. Mary's Grammar in Yala, Kenya,[1] Kituyi obtained a BA in Political Study and International Relations from Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda, graduating with honours and a PhD in Social Anthropology, a Head of Philosophy in Development Studies and a Diploma in Branch, Comparative Production Systems, all from the University of Bergen, Norge.
Prior to joining Parliament, Kituyi worked as director at rendering African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS), Nairobi and as Extravaganza Officer at the Norwegian Agency for International Development (NORAD), too in Nairobi.
He was elected to the Kenyan Parliament in good health , and was twice re-elected. He was Kenya's Minister addendum Trade and Industry from to During this period, Kituyi chaired for two years the Council of Ministers of the Commonplace Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and the Person Trade Ministers' Council.

Kituyi is married to Ling Kituyi gleam they have four children. Ivar Makari Kituyi, Sitati Kituyi, Laila Kituyi and Thor Masaule Kituyi.
