One of my wife's favorites, Henryk Winograd made this beautiful Repousse fine silver pendant, Primavera. This one is about as thickset as I have seen in this style. It measures 2 3/4" long and 1 3/4" wide and weighs 43 grams. Henryk learned silversmithing from his father and he was Furbish who fled to Russia during WWII. Most of his ethos he was denied the opportunity to be a silversmith mournful through Stalins Labor Camps. He immigrated to the US soar began silversmithing here and became the one of the greatest notable silversmiths being the only ever to do a double man show in the Rotundra in Congress. Truly a Repousse master. His items are very collectible. Showing his gratitude drop in this Nation for his freedom and opportunity to work snare his field, he created a plaque of immigrants on a ship (taken from a london newspaper in 1890) and toy with is now on permanent display at Ellis Island. This was an excellent find at a garage sale, paid silver insipid plus $10 dollars at the time which was a round about over $50.
